Hey Deviantart, what's up? I've been really busy lately with getting my study abroad junk together and now I'm doing GISHWHES, which is super abnosome. Seriously, yesterday me and a friend went to go put a sweater she made on a statue of Ronald Reagan.

Here's a summary of it: On a morning like any other, Marion Rutherford wakes up to find himself dead with no recollection of how it happened. A pair of horses announce that Marion was the first of the year to die, giving him the status of Ankou. As the Ankou for his town, his duty involves ferrying the recently dead to the afterlife for one whole year.
Too bad Marion's not a people person.
So I would be really grateful if you guys would read it/tell someone to read it/borrow it from the Kindle library/even just download the sample. Thanks!

1. What is your name?
December Cropperwood.
2. Do you know why you were named that?
I was born in December. Mother's a genius.
3. Are you single or taken?
Single at the moment.
4. Have any abilities or powers?
Where to begin? Amazing fashion sense, people skills, lightening fast reflexes, the list goes on an on. Plus, I'm gorgeous, don't you think?

6. What's your eye color?
Chocolate.
7. How about the hair color?
A sunkissed golden blonde.
8. Have you any family members?
Mother, Fern, Sage, and Pip. Not much to say about mother. Fern raised us. Sage and Pip are my brothers. Pip doesn't do much.
9. Oh? How about pets?
No, unless you count the chickens, but I wouldn't because sometimes we eat them and its fairly barbaric to eat your pets, don't you think?
10. That's cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don't like.
Eggs, animals, knots in my hair, unfashionable people, but, let's face it, everyone in my district is unfashionable. I mean, they could at least /try/ to look good.
11. Do you have any activities/hobbies you like to do?
I put together all my own outfits, but you've certainly noticed. Less obviously, I keep a journal.
12. Have you ever hurt anyone in anyway before?
Physically: no. Emotionally: probably. If people get hurt when they're in my way, that's their problem.
13. Ever... killed anyone before?
No, but I suspect I will.
14. What kind of animal are you?
I don't like animals. I think I'd be a cat though. I don't think a cat likes other animals either. I don't think a cat likes much of anything.

I don't have any. Habits are for people with no self control. *as he twirls his hair*

My sister. She is a good person, do I have to say anything more?

Everyone is very surprised to hear that I am not interested in boys. I am not interested in /girls/ either. There is a /woman/ though...

No. I can't afford to have people in my life who limit me.

We'll see after my training scores come in.

What DON'T I wear? I wear my sister's clothes, my clothes, Bree's clothes, whatever I can get and make beautiful.

I've had it approximately three times and I didn't care for it.

Once I went to Bree's house and we hid under the stairs sipping her parent's wine. I don't remember the name, but I liked it.

Probably my bedroom.

Someone older. Its not a big deal but I would prefer she didn't know right now.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm not a girl. Bree's an A and Fern's C, just in case you wanted to know.

A lake. I've never been to the ocean, but I think the salt would be bad for my skin.
